Shutdown Planner & Shutdown Scheduler

A leading company in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking experienced professionals to join its team for shutdown planning and scheduling operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating plant shutdown and turnaround activities to ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and within the approved schedule. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed shutdown plans, work schedules, and resource requirements. Coordinate shutdown activities with maintenance, operations, engineering, and contractors. Prepare and maintain shutdown schedules using planning and scheduling software. Monitor shutdown progress and recommend corrective actions to meet project timelines. Review work orders, prioritize maintenance activities, and optimize resource utilization. Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, quality standards, and operational procedures. Support post-shutdown reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory). Minimum 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Proven experience in shutdown planning, scheduling, maintenance, or turnaround projects. Strong knowledge of maintenance planning methodologies and shutdown execution. Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or SAP PM is an advantage. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Candidates currently residing in Qatar are preferred.
