Mechanical Technician

NES Fircroft is recruiting for the following position: Position: Mechanical Technician Rotation: 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off Contract: 6 months, renewable based on business requirements Key Responsibilities: - Perform maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of Caterpillar engines and related mechanical equipment on site - Carry out hydraulic injector servicing, testing and repair activities in line with manufacturer specifications and safety standards - Execute nitrogen work operations including nitrogen pumping, purging and pressure testing activities - Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and ensure operational readiness at all times - Maintain accurate maintenance records, work completion documentation and equipment history files Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience - Experience with Caterpillar engines and hydraulic injectors is mandatory - Nitrogen work experience is mandatory
