Electrical BIM Design Engineer

SEERO Engineering Consulting L.L.C. is seeking a qualified Electrical BIM Design Engineer to join its engineering consultancy team. The company specializes in infrastructure, water management, and sustainable engineering solutions, delivering innovative and high-quality engineering projects. Location: Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt Industry: Engineering Consultancy Employment Type: Full-Time Working Hours: Night Shift (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM) Key Responsibilities - Develop, update, and maintain detailed BIM models for electrical systems using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. - Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems. - Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts within BIM models. - Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated designs. - Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including IEC and NEC. - Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, schedules, and technical documentation. - Conduct quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Participate in coordination meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members on BIM-related tasks. Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. - 2–4 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a strong focus on BIM workflows. - Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. - Solid understanding of power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems. - Familiarity with clash detection and resolution using BIM tools.
