HSE Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HSE Manager to join our team in Dubai, UAE, and lead the Health, Safety & Environment function across our construction/infrastructure operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and manage the overall HSE function and strategy across projects and operations. • Ensure compliance with UAE HSE legislation, regulatory requirements, client standards, and international best practices. • Develop, implement, review, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans. • Conduct and oversee regular site inspections, HSE audits, toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training programs. • Lead incident and accident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions. • Monitor and evaluate HSE performance, KPIs, trends, and compliance across projects. • Prepare and submit comprehensive HSE reports and performance updates to senior management. • Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, authorities, project teams, and other stakeholders on HSE matters. • Drive continuous improvement and promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization. CANDIDATE PROFILE • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. • Minimum 15 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably within construction and infrastructure projects. • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE legislation, regulatory requirements, and construction safety practices. • Professional HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001, or equivalent are preferred. • Proven leadership and team-management capabilities. • Excellent communication, reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • Strong experience in HSE management systems, audits, risk management, incident investigation, and compliance. • UAE/GCC project experience will be an added advantage.
