Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operator - Offshore

NES Fircroft is recruiting on behalf of an Oil & Gas client in Oman for the following position: Position: Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operator - Offshore Location: Oman Key Responsibilities: Operate passive acoustic monitoring equipment to detect and identify marine mammal vocalizations during offshore seismic and drilling operations Monitor PAM systems continuously during operations and alert the MMO and vessel master on detection of marine mammal signals Implement PAM-based mitigation protocols and operational shutdowns in line with regulatory requirements Maintain accurate PAM data logs, detection records and daily operational reports Coordinate with the MMO and environmental teams on PAM monitoring requirements and regulatory compliance Requirements: Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience Mandatory experience with an Oil & Gas Operating Company
