Contract Manager

URGENT HIRING – Contract Manager. We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join a leading construction project in Qatar. Location: Lusail, Qatar. Duration: 3 Months (Extendable). Key Responsibilities: - Manage main contract and subcontract matters during the project handover and close-out phase - Assess and administer subcontractor claims, including Extension of Time (EOT), Prolongation, Disruption, Loss & Expense Claims - Review subcontract claims against contract provisions and notice requirements - Prepare contractual responses, claim rejections, and counter-claims with the QS team - Support negotiation and settlement of subcontractor final accounts - Advise on contractor claims, back charges, and contractual entitlements - Maintain contractual notices, claims registers, correspondence, and key date trackers - Support contract administration in accordance with contract conditions - Coordinate handover documentation and project close-out requirements Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline - Minimum 5 years of Contract Administration experience with a main contractor in the Middle East - Proven experience in subcontractor claims management, including EOT, prolongation, disruption, and loss & expense claims - Experience in project handover and close-out - Strong analytical, negotiation, and contractual correspondence skills - Experience in preparing and defending contractual claims - Knowledge of arbitration procedures and evidentiary requirements is an advantage - RICS Member or Professional Candidate is desirable - Immediate joiners are highly preferred Hiring from Qatar only.
