As a Security Engineer at Namespace, you'll own and strengthen security across our systems, network, and infrastructure. You'll work closely with engineering and operations to identify vulnerabilities, build security measures and best practices, and ensure security is embedded into how we build and operate.
We're looking for people with grit—people who push through ambiguity, take ownership, and keep going when things get hard. You're deeply curious, driven to understand how things work and how they can be improved. Most importantly, you have a strong bias to execution: you don't wait for perfect conditions, you ship, learn, and iterate quickly. Design and build novel firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS) to fortify our servers, networks, and systems
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, evaluating technologies and core systems for weaknesses and potential vulnerabilities
Develop security measures to quickly detect and respond to real-time threats and vulnerabilities
Develop security-first guidelines and best practices for the entire organization to follow
Work closely with operations, developers, and other stakeholders to build and maintain a one-team approach to security
