As a part of our Product Design team, you will contribute to our design process, culture, and experience principles and set new standards for design quality.&nbsp;</p> <p>Learn more about the colorful design team and our culture: https://miro.design/</p> <h4><strong>About the Role</strong></h4> <p>Miro is looking for a visionary Staff<strong> Product Designer</strong> to support the design of Miro’s <strong>canvas formats</strong> experiences, including prototyping and slides. This isn’t just about refining a feature; it’s about defining the future of how millions of people bring their ideas to life.</p> <p>As a key leader within the Canvas Modes stream, you will lead the design evolution of these formats, helping Miro customers turn rough thinking and code-based content from in- and outside of Miro into polished, persuasive content on its canvas. We are looking for an <strong>AI Native designer </strong>-<strong> </strong>someone who doesn’t just see AI as a feature but as a fundamental shift in the product development process and ultimately, a massive opportunity.</p> <p>You will be tasked with shaping not just where Miro’s formats offering should be, but where it is going - ensuring we aren't just keeping pace with the market, but setting it.</p> <h4><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Define and drive the evolution of Miro’s canvas-based formats. You’ll articulate a near-term design vision that disrupts the norms and looks where the market is going.</li> <li>Be a tireless innovator in the AI space. You will explore how generative AI can collapse the gap between a rough idea and rich, interactive content on a Miro board.</li> <li>Approach the product with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of ownership. You’ll navigate ambiguity, build lean experiments, and treat the format experience as your own startup within Miro.</li> <li>Leverage your deep understanding of the competitive landscape to create a best-in-class experience that rivals any competitor while maintaining Miro’s ease of use and considering our other suite of formats.</li> <li>Partner with Product and Engineering across the org to solve complex technical- and design challenges around AI quality, discoverability, and the seamless transition between the ‘infinite canvas’ and the format experiences within it.</li>
