Meteocontrol - Augsburg - Global - Oil & Gas / Energy


Your mission:

  • Develop and maintain the device communication for the bluelog Neo and blue’Log X-Series
  • Improve the software architecture continuously
  • Test the written code using a simulator, remote access or real hardware
  • Review development requests for feasibility
  • Work closely together in a dedicated team
  • Communicate with other departments, manufactures and customers


Your profile:

  • Enthusiasm for our tech stack (Linux, TypeScript, Node.js, Rust)
  • Hands on experience with Object-oriented programming and unit/integration testing
  • Hands on experience with version management (Git, GitLab)
  • Ideally knowledge about:
    • PV devices (inverters, meters, sensors etc.)
    • Bonus:Knowledge about energy storage devices (batteries, battery inverters, hybrid inverters etc.)
    • Communication protocols, especially TCP/UDP and Modbus
    • Serial communication (RS485/422)
  • Very good knowledge of English
