Andalus is looking to hire a qualified professional for the following position: Position: Warehouse Manager Location: Kuwait Note: This opportunity is available for candidates currently inside Kuwait only. About the Role: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for daily warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient storage, handling and distribution of goods while maintaining accurate inventory, supervising staff and supporting timely order fulfillment. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in the same or related field - Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic ERP software - Strong understanding of inventory control and logistics - Organizing and planning skills - Proficient in English and Arabic languages Key Responsibilities: - Advanced proficiency in WMS platforms including SAP EWM/WM, Oracle WMS, Manhattan or Blue Yonder covering system configuration, slotting logic and wave planning - Expertise in inventory management methodologies including ABC analysis, FIFO/FEFO/LIFO inventory rotation, safety stock optimization and perpetual inventory control through cycle counting programs - Experience designing and optimizing warehouse layouts using slotting analysis, pick-path optimization and cube utilization to reduce travel time and increase throughput - Strong understanding of warehouse performance KPIs including OTIF, order accuracy, dock-to-stock time, lines picked per hour, inventory turnover, shrinkage and cost per order shipped - Working knowledge of automation and MHE conveyor systems, AS/RS, RF scanning, barcode/RFID infrastructure and fleet management of forklifts/reach trucks including maintenance scheduling - Proven implementation of Lean methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping and root cause analysis to eliminate waste and improve flow - Deep understanding of HSE compliance covering OSHA/local safety codes, HACCP or GDP for food/pharma handling, incident investigation and safety audit management - Experience with inbound/outbound logistics coordination including dock scheduling, cross-docking, load planning, carrier management and customs/import-export documentation
