Production Manager – Plastic Factory

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager – Plastic Factory to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in plastic manufacturing, production planning, machinery operations, quality control, preventive maintenance, and cost optimization, with proven experience in managing factory operations. Key Roles & Responsibilities: • Oversee daily plastic factory operations, production activities, manpower, machinery, and resources. • Plan and execute production schedules, machine allocation, material requirements, and shift planning. • Supervise plastic manufacturing processes, including extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding, and film converting, as applicable. • Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, output, material consumption, and wastage. • Ensure product quality, process control, and compliance with manufacturing standards. • Coordinate preventive maintenance, machinery troubleshooting, and technical improvements to minimize downtime. • Manage raw materials, including plastic resins, additives, masterbatch, and production consumables. • Implement cost-saving initiatives, reduce production scrap, and improve operational efficiency. • Coordinate with Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations. • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, workplace safety, and environmental regulations. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience in plastic manufacturing and factory production management. • Strong technical knowledge of plastic processing machinery, manufacturing processes, and raw materials. • Experience in production planning, preventive maintenance, quality management, and cost control. • Knowledge of BOM, inventory management, production reporting, and operational KPIs. • Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and team management skills. Candidate Requirements: • Candidates must be currently available in the UAE. • Previous experience in a plastic manufacturing factory is essential. • Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
