Drilling Engineer

NES Fircroft is recruiting on behalf of an Oil & Gas client in Oman for the following position: Position: Drilling Engineer Location: Oman Key Responsibilities: Design and engineer well programs including BHA selection, mud programs, casing design, hydraulics and cementing programs Prepare drilling procedures, risk assessments and cost estimates for assigned wells Monitor drilling operations and provide real-time engineering support on drilling parameters and technical issue resolution Conduct post-well analysis, lessons learned and drilling performance benchmarking Coordinate with subsurface, HSE, procurement and contractor teams on well planning and execution requirements Requirements: Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience Mandatory experience with an Oil & Gas Operating Company
