Senior Procurement Engineer – Plant & Machinery

The Senior Procurement Engineer – Plant & Machinery is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring plant machinery, heavy equipment, construction equipment, vehicles, and spare parts to support project and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Lead procurement of plant machinery, equipment, vehicles, and spare parts. • Identify and manage local and international suppliers, OEMs, and manufacturers. • Evaluate technical and commercial proposals and negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms. • Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, and Operations teams to ensure technical compliance. • Manage logistics, delivery schedules, and supplier performance. • Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring quality and timely delivery. • Maintain compliance with company procurement policies and documentation requirements. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. • Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors. • Strong expertise in plant machinery, heavy equipment, and international sourcing. • Proven negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills. • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
