General Accountant

Hiring: General Accountant | Dubai, UAE Location: Dubai, UAE Joining: Immediate Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or a Finance-related qualification - 6–8 years of total accounting experience - Minimum 3 years of UAE accounting experience (mandatory) - Strong knowledge of ERP systems, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records using ERP systems - Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the General Ledger (GL) - Create and issue invoices for one-time projects and recurring services - Manage and reconcile payments received through Stripe - Follow up on outstanding customer invoices via email and phone - Send payment reminders, account statements, and overdue notices - Perform bank and Stripe reconciliations - Monitor cash flow and provide updates on overdue payments - Process supplier invoices, company expenses, and payments - Prepare Financial Statements, management reports, and budgets - Prepare and file UAE VAT Returns accurately and on time - Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax Returns within statutory deadlines - Maintain supporting documentation for VAT and Corporate Tax compliance
