Resident Construction Engineer

NES Fircroft is recruiting on behalf of a client in Oman for the following position: Position: Resident Construction Engineer Location: Oman Key Responsibilities: - Supervise construction activities on site and ensure all works are executed in compliance with contract documents, drawings and specifications - Review contractor technical submittals, shop drawings and method statements and provide technical approvals or comments - Monitor construction progress, quality and safety and coordinate with the contractor on daily site activities and issue resolution - Attend site progress meetings and maintain accurate site records, correspondence logs and inspection documentation - Prepare weekly and monthly construction supervision reports and highlight risks and technical issues to project management Requirements: - Minimum 10 years of experience - Mandatory experience in the Real Estate sector - Strong knowledge of and experience working with international codes and standards
