Mine Shift Supervisor

Saudi Gold Refinery (SGR) is seeking a Mine Shift Supervisor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to oversee daily extraction operations at our mining sites. This role ensures safe and efficient production of ore that feeds into our downstream refining and bullion manufacturing processes. The supervisor will lead shift crews in adherence to strict safety standards and operational protocols defined by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. The Mine Shift Supervisor will report directly to the Mine Manager and will play a key role in meeting production targets while maintaining zero harm principles. This position requires decisive leadership to manage complex underground or open-pit activities and coordinate seamlessly with processing and maintenance teams. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related technical discipline is required. - Candidates must have at least five years of experience in mining operations with two years in a supervisory capacity. - Proficiency in English and Arabic is necessary for effective communication with diverse teams. - Deep knowledge of MIM safety regulations and mining best practices is essential. - Experience with drill and blast operations in hard rock environments is required. - Strong analytical skills for interpreting production data and geological models are needed. - Ability to work rotational shifts in remote locations is a mandatory requirement. - Valid driving license and physical fitness for underground or pit site inspections are required.
