Safety Officer

Draieh Contracting W.L.L. is looking to hire a qualified professional for the following position: Position: Safety Officer (1 vacancy) Project: Ras Laffan Project Location: Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily HSE inspections across active construction work areas and enforce safe work practices Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and awareness sessions for site workers and subcontractors Perform risk assessments, JSA and TRA activities before commencement of work activities Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, confined space entry, working at height and hot work procedures Maintain HSE records, statistics and documentation in compliance with QatarEnergy and company requirements Requirements: 4 to 7 years of relevant experience Previous Construction, Civil, Infrastructure, EPC or Oil & Gas experience is mandatory Ras Laffan / QatarEnergy project experience is a strong advantage NEBOSH IGC is mandatory IOSH Certification is preferred Strong knowledge of PTW, JSA, TRA, LOTO, Confined Space Entry, Working at Height and Hot Work procedures
