Certified Electrical Inspector

POSITION: CERTIFIED ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR Location: Sohar, Oman Experience: 7–9 Years Qualification: BE – Electrical & Instrumentation Industry: Oil & Gas MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS • Valid CompEx Certification (Ex01–Ex04 mandatory). • Ex05–Ex06 or Ex11 certification will be an added advantage. • 7–9 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation within Oil & Gas projects. • Strong knowledge of IECEx / ATEX standards. • Experience working in hazardous areas (Zones 0, 1 & 2). • Offshore or refinery project experience preferred. • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams and P&IDs. • Hands-on experience with electrical testing instruments and E&I equipment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct installation, inspection and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment. • Perform detailed CompEx inspections and prepare compliance reports. • Troubleshoot motors, control panels, junction boxes and field instruments. • Support commissioning activities for Oil & Gas facilities. • Ensure compliance with international hazardous area safety standards. • Maintain inspection reports and maintenance documentation.
