KBM Engineering Consultancy is looking to hire a qualified professional for the following position: Position: OLCM Services (On-Line Condition Monitoring) Location: Oman Minimum Education, Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent Certification: Certifications in relevant areas Experience: 10+ years in the electricity business sector Special Skills: Expertise in Asset Monitoring Principles, Asset Condition and Health index development, Asset Risk Management Key Responsibilities: Assist with development of Asset Services Framework, Strategies, Objectives, Plans and Asset Risk Register Manage annual maintenance plan for asset monitoring maintenance Assist with development of best practice asset management standards for On-Line Condition Monitoring System Review asset services system performance, monitors and reports Manage the whole life cycle of On-Line Monitoring Assets Ensure proper commissioning of monitoring devices and integration with SCADA and telecom team Ensure cybersecurity best practices in On-Line Monitoring System related equipment and devices Ensure ICT best practices in On-Line Monitoring System related equipment and devices Integrate online monitoring systems with existing infrastructure Configure hardware and software settings including sensors, gateways and communication protocols Test and validate data transmission from field devices to central platforms Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for compatibility and data integrity Perform periodic system communication health checks and updates Analyze real-time data for faults or anomalies and escalate when needed Contribute to preparation of business and work plans for technical deliverables Contribute to asset management plans for on-line monitoring assets including site assets Review and maintain critical spares requirement Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in asset monitoring
