Merchandiser Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser Supervisor to lead merchandising activities across our fresh food categories. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute attractive merchandising strategies for fresh food items; Ensure proper display of fruits, vegetables, dairy, and poultry; Maintain visually appealing product layouts to maximize sales; Monitor shelf arrangement, FIFO, and product replenishment; Drive sales growth through effective merchandising and promotions; Analyze sales reports and adjust displays based on demand trends; Ensure consistent availability of fast-moving products; Coordinate seasonal and promotional displays; Maintain high standards of product quality and freshness; Monitor expiry dates and remove damaged or expired stock; Ensure proper storage conditions and hygiene standards; Coordinate with procurement and warehouse for fresh stock supply; Supervise and guide merchandising staff; Assign tasks and monitor performance; Train team on product handling, display techniques, and hygiene; Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards; Monitor stock levels and minimize waste and shrinkage; Conduct regular stock checks and maintain records; Coordinate replenishment based on demand forecasts; Ensure proper stock rotation to reduce spoilage; Deliver high standards of customer service; Assist customers with product selection and recommendations; Resolve customer concerns related to product quality or availability. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree; 5–10 years of merchandising experience (fresh food retail preferred); 3–5 years of supervisory experience in UAE retail; Strong knowledge of handling perishable goods; Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
