PROJECT ENGINEERING LEAD (Warranty)

Join our esteemed client, a leading Oil & Gas LNG Operating Company in Qatar for the NFXP Onshore LNG plant expansion project. Position: PROJECT ENGINEERING LEAD (Warranty) Work Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar Estimated Start Date: August 2026 Contract Duration: 36 Months Rotation: 3 Months on / 2 weeks off Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering with 15 years' experience in multiple project functions (project management, engineering, construction, procurement) in Oil & Gas Industry - Experience in supervisory role, including oversight of contractor/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel - Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Execution with strong background in commissioning and startup - 3 years' experience in warranty coordination - Proven experience with warranty claims and resolution - Experience with major and first tier EPC Contractors, Sub-Contractors and Vendors in oil and gas industry - Experience with LNG operations, cause and effect analysis, and debottlenecking of unplanned downtime caused by defects Key Responsibilities: - Maintain warranty claim form register and lead warranty coordination between EPC Contractor and Company - Lead entire process of warranty claims with adequate prioritization - Facilitate workflow for warranty claims ensuring timely defect assignment and repair execution - Support Project Manager in project engineering work related to contract, construction, quality, safety, interface and commissioning - Support coordination of observations and findings by operations/startup team with project team and EPC Contractor - Support operations readiness plan (ORP) ensuring deliverables progress as agreed
