To manage all commercial and contractual matters relating to assigned projects in accordance with contract documentation, Project Manager requirements and company procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Review, analyse and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, bills of quantities and specifications to prepare detailed take-offs in accordance with the project's method of measurement for interim and final payment applications, variations, claims, and subcontractor or supplier enquiries and payments. • Liaise with the Project Engineering team to ensure all measurements are based on the latest drawing revisions and maintain marked-up drawings and monthly project measurement records. • Conduct site visits and undertake physical measurements as required to maintain accurate and detailed measurement records, including photographic records where directed. • Liaise daily with the Client's commercial team to ensure commercial requirements and processes are met. Maintain tracking schedules for variations, dayworks, payments, final measurement submissions, additional works and claims, raising any commercial issues to the Line Manager as required. • Prepare and submit interim and monthly payment applications to clients and consultants, expedite payment certificates, prepare variation cost proposals, and undertake subcontractor and supplier commercial bid analyses for approval as required. Experience Requirements: • Graduate or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline. • 1–3 years' experience in the construction industry. • Strong planning and organisational skills. • Analytical with excellent problem-solving ability. • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
