Head of Electrical Design

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading international engineering consultancy for a Head of Electrical Design to lead the delivery of major building services projects across the UAE. You will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary electrical design teams across Dubai and India, delivering projects from concept through to IFC, while ensuring technical excellence, programme delivery and client satisfaction. The role requires a commercially astute leader with experience in project resource planning, bid and proposal support, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Regular travel between regional offices will be required to foster collaboration, maintain design quality, and develop a cohesive high-performing team. Requirements: ✅ 15+years' electrical building services consultancy experience. ✅ Proven leadership delivering projects from concept to IFC. ✅ Experience managing geographically dispersed design teams. ✅ Strong commercial awareness with involvement in bids, proposals and resource planning. ✅ Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards Chartership preferred. ✅ Excellent communication, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
