Project Engineer

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to support a major Oil & Gas project in Qatar, with significant interaction with China-based vendors and manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor vendor performance, manufacturing progress, and delivery schedules - Ensure equipment and materials are delivered to meet project milestones and ROS dates - Coordinate vendor readiness for inspections, testing, and acceptance activities - Track and close punch items before equipment shipment - Identify and mitigate manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery risks - Drive recovery plans and resolve vendor performance issues - Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, construction, and project controls teams Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science - Minimum 4 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry - Experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, Procurement/Supply Chain, Construction, or Engineering Execution - Experience working with international vendors and manufacturing facilities - Exposure to equipment manufacturing, fabrication yards, inspections, and testing activities - Understanding of offshore Oil & Gas facilities, project execution, procurement, and supply chain processes - Knowledge of quality assurance, inspections, and vendor surveillance activities - Experience within multidisciplinary engineering and construction environments Software Requirements: - Microsoft Office Suite - Navisworks - Other engineering and project management tools
