Project HSE Performance Specialist

KBM Engineering Consultancy is looking to hire a qualified professional for the following position: Project HSE Performance Specialist, located in Oman. Minimum Education, Qualifications & Skills: Education: Basic Qualification – Diploma (3 years) / Degree (4 years) in Technical & Administration field. Certification: NEBOSH IGC certificate / relevant certification, Lead Auditor ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Experience: Minimum Five years in similar operations. Special Skills: HSE Management System implementation, strong knowledge of applicable legal requirements, planning & organizational skills, quick decision-making ability, initiative-driven. Key Responsibilities: Ensure contractor and site supervision consultant fully complies with OETC HSE management system requirements. Provide onsite HSE awareness on: Project HSE Plan compliance, OSH Regulation MD 286/2008, applicable legal requirements, welfare arrangements, Risk Assessment, training programs. Follow-up on corrective actions and close out of raised non-conformances. Address serious observations to Contractor and Consultant on spot for immediate corrective actions. Identify areas of potential improvement based on audit results and suggest remedial actions.
